Severe Weather Design Solution |
|
25 Students learned about severe weather and natural disasters. Then they learned how a design solution could help prevent a natural disaster or help protect people and homes from the severe weather that is a result from that weather. Some classes researched the design solutions in 3rd grade. The 3rd grade Magnet class went a step farther and designed and created their own design solution from recycled materials and materials they had on hand in the classroom or at home. Some of the designs were a Solar Pipe System, a Double Snow Shovel, and a Water Barrel Conveyor System. Check them out!!! Very cool!!
